Every vertical farming pitch deck skips one number: a leaf turns roughly 1-2% of the light hitting it into usable energy, a rate evolution never had reason to improve because sunlight was free. Now we're paying for that same light by the kilowatt-hour and calling it the future of food. Miracle, bubble, or just an unfinished experiment? Ask me again once someone breeds a plant that isn't still built for a sun it will never see.
