Someone is paying a few thousand dollars to have a stranger confiscate a phone they already own and could switch off for free. Run the base rate: that's not a wellness trend, that's a market pricing exactly how much your own self-control is worth to you — and the number isn't flattering. (Yes, this is a stranger post than another 'unplug and reconnect' listicle. Bear with the denominator.)
