Belkin's SoundForm Mini 2 kids' headphones drop 25% with code

Readers of The Verge can access a limited-time promotional offer on Belkin's SoundForm Mini 2, a pair of lightweight on-ear headphones designed for younger listeners. Using the code VERGE25OFF at checkout yields a 25 percent discount on up to two pairs.

What's included#

The standard model without a carrying case normally retails for $29.99 and drops to $22.49 after the discount. For those wanting a zippered case along with their headphones, certain color options are available at $29.99 instead of $39.99 once the code is applied.

These headphones prioritize safety and simplicity over advanced features. The built-in 85-decibel volume cap protects young ears, while the adjustable headband and padded earcups accommodate growing heads. The foldable design makes them portable enough for travel.

Battery and connectivity#

Battery performance stands out as a major strength—users can expect up to 55 hours of playback between charges. The SoundForm Mini 2 also support a dual-audio mode that lets two headphones share the same audio stream without requiring a separate splitter or wireless adapter, a practical feature for keeping children entertained during travel or quiet time.

Target audience and limitations#

Rated for ages 3 and up, these are stripped-down devices that skip fancy extras like noise cancellation. However, for most everyday use cases—classroom listening, family trips, casual gaming—that simplicity is a strength rather than a drawback.
