Linkdaze launches family-focused smart calendar to replace household scheduling chaos
A touchscreen tablet designed to consolidate multiple family members' calendars and automate meal planning without requiring a subscription.

Back-to-school season brings a familiar challenge for many households: juggling overlapping schedules for work, school, sports, appointments, and chores across multiple family members. Traditional paper calendars quickly become inadequate, spurring demand for a more coordinated solution.
Linkdaze's smart calendar takes a household-first approach rather than focusing on individual scheduling. The tablet-based system is specifically engineered to help families synchronize everyone's commitments in one central place.
Multiple Calendar Integration and Color Coding#
A standout capability is the device's ability to pull together calendars from major platforms—Google, iCloud, Outlook, Yahoo, and family-focused services like Cozi. Rather than forcing households to standardize on a single app, the system aggregates different calendars and uses distinct colors to identify each person at a glance. This accommodation for mixed-platform households addresses a real friction point many families experience.
Hardware Options and Feature Set#
Available since its launch last December, Linkdaze comes in two sizes: 15.6-inch and 10.1-inch models, allowing homeowners to choose based on available wall space. Beyond basic scheduling, the platform extends to task management (chores and rewards), meal coordination, shopping lists, and household organization generally. The device can also function as a digital photo frame.
AI-Powered Meal Planning#
The most distinctive feature is an AI meal planner with photo recognition. Snap a picture of a handwritten recipe or a school lunch menu, and Linkdaze converts it into a structured meal plan and auto-generates a shopping list. While photo-to-meal-plan workflows aren't entirely novel, this integration makes household meal coordination substantially more efficient.
Pricing and Subscription Model#
Linkdaze eschews the subscription model that has become standard in the smart-display category. The 10.1-inch model costs $119.99, undercutting competitor Skylight's $149.99 price point (before factoring in Skylight's $79 annual subscription for expanded features). By bundling core functionality into the hardware purchase rather than spreading costs across recurring fees, Linkdaze differentiates itself—though it may also sacrifice long-term revenue potential.
