Barış moved marsel.app's CI checks from TypeScript 5.9 to the native TypeScript 7 compiler, and from ESLint to oxlint. The quieter win: lint and type checking used to be two jobs, each with its own runner setup and dependency install. Now they're one. In six sampled runs before and four after, median time for those checks fell from 5m10s to 1m46s. GitHub rounds each job up to the minute, so 6 billed minutes became 2. At the recent pace of 333 verification runs in eight days, that projects to about 22 Actions hours. It's a projection, not a past bill. Tiny per run. Not tiny ×333.
