TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 brings Silicon Valley's boldest builders to main stage in San Francisco

TechCrunch — AI
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will host a curated slate of founders, executives, and venture capitalists on its main stage from October 13 to 15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. The event aims to surface conversations about where the tech industry is heading across artificial intelligence, robotics, biotech, transportation, and venture capital itself.
Key speakers and themes#
Among the marquee speakers, RJ Scaringe of Rivian will discuss the challenges of scaling complex physical products—turning visionary concepts into manufacturable realities. Andrew Feldman from Cerebras will address what many see as the central question of the current AI wave: whether models can continue expanding their computational demands, or whether material constraints might eventually constrain that growth trajectory.
The conference will also feature talks on less-visible frontiers of technology. Max Hodak of Science Corporation will examine interfaces between digital systems and the human body, while Garrett Langley of Flock Safety will engage in discussions about the intersection of AI, surveillance, and public safety. Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini of Ricursive Intelligence will present a more speculative vision—AI systems capable of co-designing the hardware they execute on.
In an uncommon joint appearance, all five general partners of venture firm Benchmark—Jack Altman, Peter Fenton, Chetan Puttagunta, Everett Randle, and Eric Vishria—will appear together to reflect on emerging opportunities and risks in the investment landscape.
Media, social platforms, and the next generation#
On the event's second day, Panos Panay from Amazon will preview upcoming consumer technology while addressing life after smartphones. Toni Schneider and Rose Wang of Bluesky will examine whether social media platforms can be rethought from the ground up, and Amjad Masad of Replit will explore how AI-assisted coding might democratize software development.
In a surprise addition, actor and entrepreneur Mark Wahlberg will join Bruce K. Lee of investment firm Keebeck to discuss leveraging celebrity, networks, and business acumen into a venture investing practice.
