Grok Bot brings autonomous AI agents to workplace task automation
SpaceXAI's new Grok Bot service lets users delegate work to cloud-based AI agents that can independently access apps and websites to complete multi-step tasks.

Elon Musk's SpaceXAI has unveiled Grok Bot, a fresh entry in the competitive landscape of workplace AI assistants. The service deploys autonomous AI agents that operate from their own cloud infrastructure, capable of signing into your existing applications and platforms to handle complex, multi-stage work without constant supervision. When a task finishes or requires a human decision, the bot returns with results or asks for approval.
How it works#
You interact with Grok Bot through natural conversation—treating it like a colleague you'd message from your phone or desktop. Rather than setting up rigid workflows upfront, you simply tell the bot what you need done. The system supports running multiple bots in tandem, and they can coordinate independently by messaging each other or gathering in group chats to divide responsibilities and share context on overlapping projects.
More advanced deployments let one bot oversee and manage the work of others handling specialized tasks. SpaceXAI notes that the agents can learn your personal workflows, remember how you approach tasks, and preserve your unique communication style as they work. Over time, they grow more proactive—eventually anticipating needs and flagging issues before you ask.
Availability and competition#
Grok Bot enters beta today and is available on desktop and iOS for subscribers to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium. Enterprise and team customers can sign up for a waitlist.
The launch positions Grok Bot directly against similar offerings from rival providers: OpenAI's ChatGPT Work, Anthropic's Claude Cowork, and Microsoft's Copilot Tasks. SpaceXAI has already deployed an earlier version internally, using it for sales outreach, marketing, technical operations, and bug remediation within the company.
