The Acer Swift Go 16 AI is currently priced at $899.99 at Best Buy—a significant drop from its usual retail price of $1,549.99. This makes it an attractive option in a market where laptop prices have climbed steadily as memory and storage costs have remained elevated.
What's Included#
The system comes equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD, providing solid performance for everyday computing tasks. The centerpiece is a stunning 16-inch OLED touchscreen at 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, with a 16:10 aspect ratio that offers more vertical screen real estate than standard widescreen displays. The 180-degree hinge allows for flexible viewing positions and presentation modes.
Design and Input#
The laptop features a generously-sized multi-touch touchpad topped with Corning Gorilla Glass for durability and smooth gestures. The backlit keyboard even incorporates a full numpad—a rarity on slim modern laptops. The display's OLED technology delivers the vibrant colors and deep blacks characteristic of the panel type.
Connectivity and Performance#
Port selection is notably comprehensive for an ultraportable device, including two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While the integrated Intel graphics won't handle demanding games, the system proves capable for lighter titles and the chip manages solid battery life, stretching to more than 20 hours per charge depending on brightness settings.
