Grokipedia Gets Visual Overhaul With v0.3 Update
SpaceXAI's AI-driven Wikipedia alternative has resumed updates after a months-long pause, introducing redesigned homepage and interface elements.

SpaceXAI's Grokipedia, an artificial intelligence-powered take on Wikipedia, has rolled out a v0.3 update featuring a refreshed visual design. The platform, which recently resumed making content updates after an extended hiatus, now displays a redesigned logo alongside improvements to its homepage and live edits interface.
Design Overhaul#
The updated homepage marks a significant shift from its earlier, minimal design. Rather than a simple logo and search bar, the new interface now features featured articles presented as interactive digital books that users can rotate, a most-read section styled as a horizontally scrollable bookshelf, and a live tracker displaying the most recent content changes. On the dedicated live edits page, visitors can now view more recent modifications at a glance.
Individual article pages have also received refinements, including improved formatting for data tables at the top of entries and tighter line spacing. The overall layout remains largely consistent with previous iterations, but the presentation is noticeably more polished.
Revival After Dormancy#
Grokipedia launched in late October 2025 with content initially drawn from Wikipedia, followed by a v0.2 iteration the following month. However, the platform entered a period of apparent stagnation earlier in the year. A report from Lawfare in August indicated that no entries had been updated for over three months, suggesting the project had stalled.
The arrival of this design update signals renewed development effort. SpaceXAI's design head characterizes it as a "newly refreshed Grokipedia," though the company has not yet provided additional details about the update's scope or future roadmap.
