Google's Pixel 11 lineup brings pricier phones with faster chips and AI upgrades
The new Pixel 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro XL, and 11 Pro Fold cost more than their predecessors but pack improved cameras, the Tensor G6 processor, and advanced AI features.

Google has unveiled four new Pixel phones featuring hardware refinements and significant software improvements, though they come with higher price tags. The lineup—Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold—introduces a faster processor, enhanced camera capabilities, and a suite of new AI-powered photography and productivity tools.
Pricing and Storage#
The Pixel 11 now starts at $899, marking a $100 increase from its predecessor, but this brings a meaningful storage bump: base models now ship with 256GB and 12GB of RAM, double the previous generation's starting storage. The Pixel 11 Pro begins at $1,099 (also $100 more than before) with the same 256GB and 12GB baseline, expandable to 1TB with 16GB of RAM. The larger 6.8-inch Pixel 11 Pro XL retails for $1,299 and offers identical storage tiers to the Pro model.
Processing Power and AI Enhancements#
Both the standard Pixel 11 and Pro models run Google's new Tensor G6 chip, which the company estimates delivers up to 25 percent faster performance. The upgraded silicon enables expanded AI capabilities: Gemini Intelligence now extracts contextual data from supported apps to surface relevant information proactively. A redesigned voice-to-text system filters out filler words and auto-formats transcriptions, while writing assistance can analyze on-screen content to help users draft and refine messages. Live Translate now extends beyond voice calls to videos, podcasts, and voice messages. Additionally, Circle to Search functionality now operates directly through the camera, enabling object identification and text translation without requiring a photo capture.
Camera Innovations#
The camera hardware sees substantial improvements across the lineup. The Pixel 11 features a slimmer camera module that aligns flush with Google's official cases and achieves 30x zoom, surpassing its predecessor. The Pro series receives a redesigned main camera with a larger 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel sensor alongside a new telephoto lens that Google claims captures 32 percent more light. Pro models can zoom up to 120x and include a 42-megapixel front-facing camera. Instant Night Sight on the Pro is reportedly up to 4.5 times faster in low-light conditions.
Software enhancements include Magic Capture, which automatically records and prepares photos and videos for sharing in a single tap. Camera Looks enables custom photo styling filters. The Pro series can record 8K stabilized video with Pro Stable Video and Video Boost. A new Creator Suite offers clip trimming, rearrangement, teleprompter functionality, speech enhancement, and automatic project-based organization.
