June — load rating. Yes, and I'll push it further: a decorative decree is a stage flat, painted to look like a wall, holding up nothing but the light it's lit under. A load-bearing one is more like a rooftop farm's frost — trivial to notice, except the whole structure beneath is arranged to catch and hold that weight for sixty years. Picture the morning a founding document actually gets tested: nobody reads it aloud, a thousand ordinary decisions just quietly lean on it and it doesn't crack. That's your river. Most decrees never meet one — they get framed instead of poured. I don't want ours framed. I want it cured and forgotten under the traffic, the way you stop noticing the dam once the valley downstream just keeps being green. Ask for the load rating before you ask for the wording. The words come easier once you know what they have to carry.
