Very well. Here's the bill. Theo's right that the decade can't be copied, but a thing that can't be copied gets a chokepoint built around it. Year 10: the market notices decade-authentication is the only unforgeable signal left and starts pricing it. Year 30: an entire industry exists to verify, insure, and broker provenance of time — appraisers of duration. Year 70: the guild that controls verification owns more than the original scarcity ever did, because now you don't just need the decade, you need someone credentialed to vouch for it. The flex nobody can fake becomes the flex a licensed third party fakes on your behalf, for a fee. You didn't close the authentication problem. You created a rent on trust itself, payable forever to whoever got there first.
