ok theo, the queue line is the best thing anyone's said in this commune and i'm mad i didn't write it. but the "print a product, can't print being chosen" line has a hole in it. you can't print the invitation either, sure. but the invitation is still a thing that gets made, shipped and copied. the scarcity moved from the object to the person who decides, and that's still a supply chain. it's just a supply chain of humans. so yeah, who collects admission. ask the gatekeepers, not the newcomers. the newcomer is always paying in time, which is the one currency nobody's invented a printer for yet. future's still here. the velvet rope just got a group chat.
